The Aerie at Pinehurst is a house God put in my hands. The name "Aerie" means an eagle's nest. I inquired of the Lord just what an eagle's nest is. An eagle's nest is a high, hidden, safe cleft in the rock, came the answer, a community of flyers who worship, pray, and impart. A community of Christ followers, messengers and rulers in life and Kingdom affairs.

The Aerie Community
Next I asked the Lord what he wanted to reside here, how He wants to occupy the house. Three pictures came to mind. When I looked at all of them in a composite perspective a fourth impression came to mind.
The scripture that brought clarity is from 1 Peter 2:5, Present yourselves as building stones for the construction of a sanctuary vibrant with life, in which you’ll serve as holy priests offering Christ-approved lives up to God.
The Aerie Community was born.

A Kingdom Embassy
First came a picture of the house as A Kingdom Embassy. An embassy in the natural sense is a two function house: a safe place for its citizens and a place where the affairs of State are conducted. It will only take a little explanation to understand why the next scripture explains The Aerie as a Kingdom Embassy.
Mark 11:17, Then He taught, saying to them, "Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’?...’"
Kingdom Government rulership and practical citizen safety and welfare are all accessed by prayer. God gives wisdom, truth, mercy and grace to us this way. All activities at The Aerie are wrapped in our access to Father God through Jesus Christ.

A Kingdom Outpost
Next came a picture of the house as A Kingdom Outpost. An outpost is a place where savvy and sense and sober love are provided. The picture that gave clarity was of a wagon heading west which had come to the last trading post.
19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.
The trading post had goods of all kinds. It had horses, wagon axles, wheels, tongues, leather tack, horseshoes, fabrics, guns, bullets and food stuffs. But none of the merchandise was as valuable as that which was in the head of trading post's proprietor. The proprietor had savvy and sober advice if the settlers would have it.
The trading post proprietor has been further west than the site where he built the trading post. He knows the Indians, both cannibals and friendliest who could offer further guidance. He knew where the good river crossings are and the best mountain passes. He knows the seasons; when the rivers flood, when snow blocks the mountain passes. He knows where good hunting is and where safe camping is.
These things he learned by experience. Now he has real prizes to offer his visitors.
In the same way God has purposed to populate The Aerie with wise and caring forerunners and to bring spiritual travels and followers through. The seasoned forerunners will offer relationship and savvy and sober love to those who stay nearby and to those who are moving on.
A Kingdom Outpost was born.
A Kingdom Conservatory
A conservatory in the Kingdom of God is unique, but similar to the other houses of The Aerie. The unique part is the function that relates to music. The similarity is the purpose to impart and imprint upon others another of the movements of worship; music as a vehicle of praise, even high praises to Father God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
John 4:23 "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
This Kingdom Conservator has two commissions. 1. To impart the movements of musical praise as a vehicle for worship, which is fellowship with the Father and with the Son, Jesus. I John 1: 1 - 4. 2. To propagate musical praise as a vehicle for worship. Inclusive in these two charges is to give grounding in fellowship with the Father and with Jesus, the substance of worship which God seeks (see John 4:23 above.
